Seminary Notes (September 9th 2013 continued)

Hey guys, so during the lesson this morning, Dawn split the class into groups of 2 individuals and handed out a littler slip of paper for 1st Nephi 8. Each group was assigned specific verses and supposed to answer questions based on those verses.

The questions my partner and I had were:

• What obstacles did the individuals in Lehi's vision face? 

           The mist of darkness (temptation) and the great and spacious building (pride).

• What do those obstacles represent? 

           Temptations and Pride.

• What form do those obstacles take today? 

          Friends, family, the media and anything to do with friends and family.

• What principles do you see in these verses? 

          Don't be ashamed of the gospel.

          Do not allow the world or your peers to influence your decisions and life.
