Seminary Notes (September 23rd 2013)

Scripture Mastery & their Doctrines:

1st Nephi 3:7:
The Lord prepares a way for us to keep His commandments.

2nd Nephi 2:25:
The Fall was a necessary part of Heavenly Father;s plan and allowed for our mortal existence.

2nd Nephi 2:27:
We are free to follow Jesus Christ, which leads to liberty and eternal life, or the devil, which leads to captivity and death.

2nd Nephi 9:28-29:
The learned often take pride in their own wisdom and set aside the counsel of God. T obtain knowledge is fine as long as we continue to obey God.

2nd Nephi 25:23, 26:
Through Jesus Christ, we can receive a remission of sins and be saved by grace after doing all we can do.

2nd Nephi 28:7-9:
In the last days, many will teach false, vain and foolish doctrines.

2nd Nephi 31: 19-20:
After we exercise faith, repent of our sins, are baptized, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, we must press forward in righteousness and endure to the end to receive eternal life.

2nd Nephi 32:3:
If we study the words of Christ and of His inspired servants, we will receive the direction we need to make correct choices.

2nd Nephi 32:8-9:
The Spirit teaches us to pray.

Mosiah 2:17:
When we serve our fellow beings, we serve God.

When you apply the gospel principles, you are exercising faith.
