* Living in the wilderness.
* The fact her sons might die.
* Lehi is a visionary.
* They left their land if inheritance which had:
- riches
- comfort
- servants
- power
-What was the last thing you complained about?
4-6: -How did Lehi respond?
* God will protect.
* God will comfort.
7-9: -What does Sariah learn?
* Her husband is a prophet of the Lord.
* The Lord will protect her along with her family.
This trial and experience converts Sariah.
-Have you had moments in your life when you have allowed an experience to change you?
That is what brings you closer to your Father in Heaven.
-Sacrifices for obtaining the brass plates?
* Their lives.
-Why is it necessary to sacrifice things?
* Gain faith.
* Become humble.
-How much more value is there to something once you work hard for it?
Once you sacrifice something, you have greater appreciation for what you gain and obtain in the end.
-What was contained in the plates?
* Five books of Moses.
Leviticus, Genesis, Deuteronomy, Exodus and Numbers.
-What can you do differently today to improve your relationship with your Father in Heaven?
